Introduction
• The purpose of this role is to support all aspects of the cost agenda for the In-Business Cost team in Chennai and various Finance stakeholders across globe.
• The role is responsible for supporting the In-Business Cost team for outputs which feeds into Group Reporting, Senior Management Reviews, Cost Review Decks and Investor Relations Review.
• This role is also to ensure the integrity and accuracy of overall cost reporting, including ability to run key cost numbers from various tools/sources used across Barclays Group.
• This role will participate in preparing actual, outlook submissions into the Group Reporting team and ad hoc stakeholder requests
What will you be doing?
• Run Month-end close including Flash consolidation and reporting
• Produce monthly standard actual reporting/analysis
• Contribute HL/UL outlook including one-offs
• Reconcile the monthly Balance sheet postings and attest in the internal Barclays portal (Inform) with proper substantiation
• Maintenance and adherence to the monthly controls & checks to ensure timely, accurate and efficient business delivery
• Maintenance of Hierarchy and incorporate all changes as and when required to align to the Group & Regulatory Policies
• Manage other system approval like CAP, BPC, SAP Static & RDM
• Automate manual BAU processes to improve productivity where possible.
• Coordinate with Noida FC Team and FBPs to fix the system breaks
• Ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Ensure adherence to and compliance with governance, risk policies, procedures and compliance policies
