Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with reputed café or coffee brands such as Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, Café Coffee Day, or similar premium café chains. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, strong coffee knowledge, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, shakes, and other café drinks
Operate espresso machines, grinders, and café equipment professionally
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
Guide customers with beverage recommendations and upselling
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at the coffee station and service area
Ensure consistency in beverage quality and presentation
Handle billing, POS operations, cash, and online payments accurately
Monitor stock levels and maintain proper inventory of café supplies
Follow company SOPs, hygiene standards, and safety procedures
Support team operations during peak hours and maintain smooth workflow
Requirements:
Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Barista in reputed café brands such as Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, Café Coffee Day, Starbucks, or similar brands
Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation
Excellent communication and customer handling skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment
Basic understanding of café equipment maintenance and hygiene practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in specialty coffee or premium café chains
Basic English speaking and customer interaction skills preferred
