Reports to: Loan Operations Officer
Supervises: None
Status: Full-time / Non-exempt / On-site Only
Level: Level 3
Must already be authorized to work in the United States. Relocation is not provided.

Summary For The Loan Servicing Associate I
Responsible for various duties related to Retail Lending and Compliance associated with Consumer Lending.
Requirements
Job Requirements for the Loan Servicing Associate I:
• Ability to multi-task, flexibility, and a team player
• Possess strong computer and communication skills.
• Customer service oriented both internal and external.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
Specific Job Functions For The Loan Servicing Associate I
• Maintain and set up residential and Consumer loan files to Core System.
• Handle all maintenance related to consumer and residential loans.
• Complete a quality control of each file for documentation and compliance accuracy and maintain the officer log of outstanding issues.
• Perform a post-closing review of originated and non-originated residential loan files for compliance with Regulation C (HMDA) and maintain a log of errors.
• Ensure all required fields of the HMDA LAR are supported by loan file documentation.
• Understanding of Government Secured Loans (RD, MSHA, VA).
• Handle the daily remittance, sale, and reporting of the Investor Loans (FNMA, FHLB-Wells Fargo).
• Assist internal/ external customers with routine inquiries.
• Track Homeowners Insurance, cancellation dates and forced placed insurance.
• Review and mail commercial and consumer bills.
• Filing of memos and loan documentation.
