About the roleWe are looking for diligent Cashiers to join our branch network across multiple locations. The role involves handling all cash‑related transactions in accordance with banking guidelines, ensuring accurate record‑keeping and timely end‑of‑day reconciliation.Key responsibilitiesReceive and process cheques, drafts, dividend warrants, pay orders and other instruments, providing acknowledgements.Disburse cash for withdrawal requests and collect cash for deposit challans.Collect loan repayments as per EMI schedules and maintain corresponding system entries.Maintain inward/outward registers, petty‑cash and asset registers, and forward requisitions to the Regional Head Office.Perform daily cash tallying, prepare end‑of‑day reports and ensure vault operations are conducted jointly with the Operations Officer.Interact with customers, address queries, promote bank products and guide them to use alternate channels.Ensure compliance with turnaround times, regulatory requirements and internal policies for cash management.Validate customer authenticity during withdrawals and verify cash deposit slips for audit purposes.Required profileAbility to handle cash and documents accurately and responsibly.Strong customer service orientation.Attention to detail and adherence to banking procedures.
