Position Overview
The Back Office WQT & Labs Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Welding Qualification Test (WQT) operations and laboratory coordination between TCR Arabia and TCR India.
This role involves managing documentation, tracking project records, liaising with inspectors and coordinators, and ensuring smooth communication across regional teams. The position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of welding qualification procedures and related standards.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update the WTA PR Log to ensure accurate tracking of project requests.
Follow up with Document Controllers (DCs) and Inspectors regarding open PR file statuses.
Update WTA/MAT PR file closures weekly and report the summary to the Division Manager.
Track and maintain a record of closed job files for documentation and audit purposes.
Coordinate with TCR Arabia’s WTA Coordinator & Inspectors for WQT and PQR certificate preparations.
Work closely with LIMS and TCR Arabia teams for Lab software upgrades and enhancements.
Liaise with TCR Engineering (India) for Lab test reports related to samples sent from TCR Arabia.
Ensure all communications, records, and test documentation meet internal quality standards and timelines.
Skills & Competencies
Strong coordination and communication skills to manage multi-location operations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record keeping.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure with tight deadlines.
Sound understanding of international and governing standards, including:
ASME Sec-IX, V, VIII, IIA, IIB, IIC, API 1104, ASME B31.1, B31.4, B31.8, ISO, AWS D1.1, D1.6 and SA-Aramco specifications.
Qualifications & Experience
DME or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
CSWIP 3.1 certification and NDT Level-II in VT, RT, UT, and MT are mandatory.
5–6 years of experience in Quality Control – Welding / Inspection within oil & gas or fabrication environments.
Hands-on knowledge of Welding Qualification Tests (WQT), PQRs, and WPQs.
Personal Attributes

Strong sense of responsibility, organization, and follow-through.
Capable of working independently while maintaining effective coordination with international teams.
Additional Requirements
Valid Passport and willingness to travel internationally when required for audits, coordination meetings, or short-term assignments.
Must be able to align working hours with KSA time zone.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month (depending on experience and expertise).
