Back End Supervisor
Job Description
Safe working systems and compliance with FSG Safety Principles
Manage the shifts and activities adhering to MPI plan and dock planning and ensuring material is moved to other departments and segregated as appropriate.
Be responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental issues throughout the managed areas.
Ensure shift manning is appropriate to achieve departmental targets
Ensure that accountability is defined and understood, and that development opportunities are identified and addressed appropriately.
Maintain effective communication streams across the various departments of the business. (communication Boards)
Ensure efficient use of resources to achieve throughput and inventory targets.
Lead and promote good housekeeping programs and lean manufacturing processes.
Work with other departments to ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum.
Use basic tropos transactions and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
Managing cost, and production consumables
Any other ad hoc duties as required
The Applicant:
At least 2 years previous experience
Quality and Technical processes related to Forge industry
Understanding of NDT & Inspection processes
Understand Drawings
Knowledge of the Aerospace and other quality-controlled industries.
