JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly motivated Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. A successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to think strategically and be innovative while working in an agile and collaborative team-oriented environment. The candidate must be comfortable working with analysts, developers, and architects across multiple teams to collaboratively design creative solutions to complex problems.
Job Requirement
JOB SPECIFIC STANDARDS
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Work with developers to identify necessary Azure resources and automate their provisioning.
• Document automation processes.
• Create and document disaster recovery plan.
• Identify and correct any single points of failure.
• Create plan for Resource Groups and resource naming.
• Work with development team and key stake holders to create plan for monitoring Azure resources.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to capture, analyze, and derive Azure Cloud Resource requirements.
• Reports to DevOps Manager
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Azure Cloud Resources, DevOps, IaaS and SaaS.
• Experience administering applications servers and web servers on Azure IaaS and SaaS
• Experience in Azure DevOps Agile practice
• Experience in application or web servers such as IIS, SQL server and BLOB storage
• Experience configuring infrastructure for high availability, troubleshooting issues within middleware space and tuning Web Applications to improve performance and stability.
• Ability to write, use and update scripts to automate daily operations, familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting.
• Flexibility to support and manage a dynamic 24/7 production as well as the other testing environments.
• Experience in obtaining memory dump and analyzing memory dump.
• Ability to run vulnerability scans across all IaaS and SaaS instances.
