About the Company- Incorporated in 1++1, Kotak Investment Banking is a leading full-service investment bank in India offering integrated solutions encompassing high-quality financial advisory services and financing solutions. Key Responsibility- • Supporting deal origination & execution by thorough research, analysis, taking ownership of creating deliverables, and related pitch documents. • Preparing financial models and analytical support for merger & acquisitions advisory transactions Co-ordination with client’s management and intermediaries on the transaction for various deliverables. • Develop & build on business / industry knowledge for this purpose. • Drafting pitch materials, information memoranda, investor presentations and term sheets etc. • Performing company, industry, market and competitor research and due diligence. • Ensuring quality of client deliverables by having strong attention to detail. • Working across products on deal origination & execution. Skills Required- • Strong knowledge of financial concepts and real estate products (e.g. REITs). • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment. • Ability to quickly evaluate and analyze companies and financial information. • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, as well as strong writing and communication skills. • High level of attention to detail. • Ability to work effectively with senior professionals in an engagement team. Core Competencies Required- · Experience of working in real estate sector (directly with developers or funds / indirectly as part of transaction advisory team / NBFCs) · Should have worked on real estate capital market transactions / M&A transactions (equity / debt raise, asset sale) · Relationship with real estate developers in tier I cities and PE funds / NBFCs (would be preferred) Eligibility- • 3-6 years of relevant work experience in a financial institution / related domain would be preferred (MBA from a tier 1/2 college) • Minimum 6 years of experience for Graduates with relevant experience / CA rank holder or the likes
