Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Lot Attendant to join our dealership team. This role is vital in maintaining the appearance and organization of our vehicle lot, ensuring a positive experience for customers and visitors. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Previous dealership or guest service experience is a plus, along with strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Duties
Assist with the movement and parking of vehicles on the lot to ensure proper organization and accessibility
Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the vehicle lot, including sweeping, washing, and detailing as needed
Greet guests and visitors courteously, providing assistance or directing them to appropriate personnel
Handle guest inquiries professionally, offering information about vehicles or dealership services
Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during transactions or payments when required
Ensure safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors
Support inventory management by tracking vehicle locations and assisting with vehicle transfers within the lot
Skills
Prior dealership experience or familiarity with automotive operations is preferred
Strong guest service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and professionalism
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse customers
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests, team members, and management
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable attitude
Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods
