As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate & Investment Banking in Securities Services Technology, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
As a SDET at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a seasoned member of Test Engineering team to design and deliver innovative & scalable test automation solution that advance businesses. You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated in developing Automated Testing solutions. You'll responsible for developing the E2E test automation framework and work with Test Lead, Application Developer and other stakeholders to achieve in - sprint test automation.
Job responsibilities:
• Test Automation - design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Work with stakeholders to analyze the test automation requirement and develop innovative & efficient E2E test automation solutions
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex E2E test solutions while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and test architecture
• Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
• Building and maintaining good working relationships with Application Development, Operations, Business and other Stakeholders
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
• Proficiency in Core Java, Spring, Maven, REST API Automation, Selenium, Cucumber, CICD
• Hands on Advance level Python Programming Knowledge
• Proficiency in automation design and framework development
• Prior work experience in automated testing of AWS applications
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Able to independently handle test automation design and implementation based on the business requirements
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
• Understanding of design principles of application architecture on AWS
• Prior experience in designing and implementing Lambda and ECS is desirable
