Job Overview
The Automation Engineer Senior Advisor plays a pivotal role in system development across the broader Pharmacy Quality Engineering organization, influencing Operations and Technology Product Management. This high-performing team member will work closely with clients and IT management to identify automated solutions, design and develop applications, and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
Drive process improvements across the broader Pharmacy Quality Engineering organization, influencing Operations and Technology Product Management.
Foster a culture of defect prevention, focusing on techniques that enhance quality and efficiency.
Develop and implement user story maturity models to inform technology product management decisions.
Consult with clients and stakeholders to ensure best practices and industry standards are applied.
Mentor and train new and existing team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Accountable for the growth and efficiencies of quality automation suites and harnesses.
Utilize empirical data to influence user story definitions, acceptance criteria, and engineering designs.
Requirements
Proven knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Java, and Robot Framework.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and relational database design.
Detail-oriented and goal-driven individual with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Able to adapt to fast-paced work environments and work independently or as part of a team.
Familiarity with version control concepts and exposure to Pega and Cloud technologies.
College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and minimum 10 years of experience in software automation testing and quality engineering.
Prior experience in the healthcare domain, mobile automation, JavaScript, TypeScript, and AWS services is highly desirable.
Location and Work Hours
This full-time position is based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India, with flexibility to work remotely as required. The ideal candidate will be available to work 40 hours per week, with expected overlap with US hours as necessary.
