Duties
Install audio-visual equipment including displays, projectors, sound systems, and control systems in commercial and residential settings.
Program AV systems using industry-standard software to ensure optimal performance tailored to client needs.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain system integrity.
Conduct maintenance and routine inspections of installed systems to ensure longevity and proper functioning.
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to assemble, mount, and secure AV components safely.
Work with telecommunication wiring, low voltage cabling, and electrical connections adhering to safety standards.
Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure installation meets specifications and client expectations.
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, wiring diagrams, and service reports.
Experience
Proven experience in AV system installation, programming, or related technical roles.
Strong understanding of computer hardware components and software troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring, low voltage systems, and telecommunication cabling.
