Qualification : BE/BTech/MS/ degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Functional Competencies
• Ability to Work in a 24x7 production environment and provided day-to-day support on-call basis
• Expertise in Setup, Installation, Configuration, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of OGG for heterogeneous environments.
• Extensive experience in Installing and configuring OGG Bigdata.
• Extensive experience in Oracle- Golden Gate replication, database, server configuration, installation and troubleshooting golden gate extract and replicate issues.
• Configure error handling for restart, logging- production support and status reporting- in Golden Gate.
• Identify and produce documentation of best practices.
• Implementing necessary monitoring scripts for Golden gate in UNIX/PERL scripting.
• First hand experiences in setting up Oracle Golden Gate one way, two way/bi-directional, active- to active and active to passive- data replication with conflict detection and resolutions.
• Performance tuning Golden Gate replications.
• Experience in Oracle RAC installation, Database creations, Administration, Monitoring, Database Backup and Recovery, user management.
• Experience in Database and Goldengate Patching and Upgradation
• Oracle Physical standby, Data Guard configuration, Maintenance, and support for DR activities.
• Experience of Switchover and Switchback of production Database
• Experience in User Management, Space Management, tnsnames & Listener Configuration.
• Experience in Creating and Managing Tablespace, datafiles, schema objects and users.
• Deep understanding oracle golden gate internal mechanism, OGG new feature such as integrated capture, native DDL capture, coordinate apply mode, multi-threaded replicate.
• Expertise in writing OGG lag monitoring scripts and configure OGG monitoring plug -in OEM (ORACLE ENTERPRISE MANAGER).
• Setting up High Availability Oracle Golden-Gate (OGG) systems on oracle environments.
• Troubleshooting typical OGG technical problems such as unique key violation /long transaction a bending by using GGSCI /log dump/ discard file analysis etc.
• Performance tuning OGG in extremely high data volume environments.
• Ability to work and provide support in night for any production issue or planned Competencies :
• A team player with excellent analytical and communication skills.
• The flexibility to work in adhoc shifts when required.
