Job Description
This position serves as the primary evening point of contact and is responsible for managing all aspects of game day operations, facility rentals, and departmental activities during assigned hours. The role reports to the Director of Athletics and plays a key part in ensuring smooth operations and a high-quality experience for student-athletes, staff, and spectators.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve as the evening point of contact for athletics facilities, events, and operations.
Manage all aspects of game day operations, rentals, and scheduled activities.
Meet with coaches to determine team facility and game needs.
Oversee all aspects of event management.
Maintain relationships with outside vendors.
Recruit, supervise, and mentor work-study students.
Assist with overseeing and maintaining athletic facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for student-athletes, staff, and spectators.
Identify maintenance needs and submit work order requests for repairs, preventive maintenance, and improvements.
Adhere to all Skyline Conference and NCAA Division III rules and regulations.
Assist with event setup, equipment inspections, and operational support.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
This position requires the ability work a schedule primarily between 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, including regular weekend hours, with flexibility based on athletic events and facility needs, as well as the ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, and reaching to inspect equipment, and support event operations.

Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in sports management, facility management, or a related field.
Two years of collegiate level work experience in game operations, event management, or athletic facilities.
Thorough knowledge of game operations and event management.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work a schedule primarily between 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, including regular weekend hours, with flexibility based on athletic events and facility needs.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting, bending, and reaching to inspect equipment, and support event operations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Farmingdale State College.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time UUP position.
For the first 10 working days, beginning Tuesday, June 30, 2026, and ending Monday, July 13, 2026, applications will be limited to UUP Farmingdale.
CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS: Wednesday, July 29, 2026
SALARY: $51,261 + $4,000 in downstate location pay = $55,261 Total Compensation.
