About the role:

An exciting opportunity exists to work as Associate to Judicial Registrar Woronczak within the Supreme Court of Victoria. The Judicial Registrar presides over specialist commercial court lists, conducts judicial mediations, and is responsible for duties delegated by the Senior Master at Funds in Court.

These are busy judicial chambers with a heavy administrative workload. The successful candidate will require excellent written and oral communication skills, organisational skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. To succeed in this role, you must be adept at working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent time management skills. Additionally, the role requires a person with strong attention to detail and a strong academic record.

Duties include:

Performing administrative tasks, including maintaining court records and preparing material for use by the judge in court;
clerking in court and drafting orders;
liaising with court staff, the public and the profession;
proofreading and fact-checking;
diary management;
legal research;
attending judicial mediations.
