Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Roles & Responsibilities
Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with lifecycle methodology and risk guidelines
Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.
Provide level 2/3 application support
Field incoming incident tickets from end users to resolve application issues
Provide root cause analysis techniques to determine cause and resolve complex system issues.
Work with onsite/regional teams across multiple technologies/applications
Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
Actively participate in Production issues calls.
Having banking domain functional experience
Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization.
Requirements
PL/SQL knowledge is mandatory, MySQL will also be preferred
Unix: Shell Script, Windows, Linux
Java: Core Java 8, Spring batch, Rest API, Hibernate, SOAP, SVN/Maven, JMeter, BPMN, Rule Engine, R, Python
Web Container: Jboss.
HTML 5, Angular JS, JavaScript, XML, JSON
Development and testing tool
Tuning SQL queries to improve the performance is a bonus point.
PL/SQL knowledge is mandatory, MySQL / R / Python will also be preferred
