The Associate Production Manager, Digital Publishing, is a versatile contributor who has production, design, and organizational skills to help lead the development of digital publishing
Digital Publishing content includes ebooks (fixed, reflowable, and interactive), vertical comics, audiobooks, and other digital content
They will work on both existing content and platforms and new ones
This role’s key task is to manage the production and conversion of ebooks from print books, as well as all associated workflows for ebook design, editing, production, and files delivery to partner aggregators and distribution platforms
The role also supports the rest of the Digital Publishing team as the coordinator of digital pub plans, metadata, files storage, rights approvals, and related group needs
This position will be closely involved in ideation about content creation across publishing formats and will provide support to audio productions
The Associate Production Manager will also play a key role in optimizing content performance through analysis of data insights and keeping abreast of industry-wide digital opportunities and best practices
It works with other departments, such as Editorial, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Legal
The goal is to produce and distribute digital content that is engaging and available widely, both domestically and internationally
