Job Description Product Analyst / Associate Product Manager (B2C Division)
Role Overview
The Product Analyst will act as a bridge between B2C customers, internal business teams, and the
technology team. The role involves understanding customer requirements, analysing their practical
usefulness and feasibility, preparing clear requirement documents for the tech team, coordinating feature
development, validating delivered features, enabling sales teams, and supporting issue resolution where
product or accounting understanding is critical.
This is a high-ownership role suited for someone who can combine accounting knowledge, business
analysis, documentation skills, and product thinking.
Key Responsibilities
• Understand and capture requirements, pain points, and feature requests from B2C customers and
internal teams
• Analyse whether requirements are useful, scalable, and aligned with customer needs and product
direction
• Evaluate requirements from both business/accounting and product feasibility perspectives
• Prepare detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) / Functional Requirement Specifications for
the tech team
• Translate accounting / workflow requirements into clear functional logic for developers
• Coordinate with the tech team to ensure smooth understanding and execution of requirements
• Support feature development through clarifications, walkthroughs, and follow-ups
• Plan and manage testing / UAT / validation of developed features before release
• Prepare and review release notes, feature summaries, internal FAQs, and product update documents
• Train the B2C Sales Team and internal stakeholders on newly launched features and their business use
cases
• Assist Support / Tech teams in bug analysis and issue resolution where accounting, functional, or
product understanding is required
• Identify recurring customer issues, workflow gaps, and opportunities for product improvement
Required Skills
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and transaction flows
• Familiarity with accounting concepts
• Strong requirement gathering and documentation skills
• Good understanding of software / SaaS workflows
• Experience in testing / UAT / validation
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to simplify functional requirements for tech and business teams
Preferred Background
• 25 years of experience in roles such as Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Associate Product
Manager, Functional Consultant, Product Operations, or Implementation
• Prior experience in SaaS / Automation Software / Workflow Tools / Fintech / Accounting-Tech / Data
Entry Automation is preferred
• Familiarity with tools such as Tally, Excel, Google Sheets etc. is a plus
Educational Qualification
• Inter CA / CA Finalist / Semi-qualified CA preferred
• Candidates from B. Com / M. Com / Finance / Commerce backgrounds with strong relevant experience
may also be considered
• Candidates with exposure to accounting software, bookkeeping processes, GST workflows,
reconciliation, voucher entry logic, or automation tools will be preferred
