Job Description:
Fortis Hospital and Research Centre is looking for a dedicated Associate Consultant in Critical Care Medicine to join our team in New Delhi. You will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, managing, and stabilizing critically ill patients. This role involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and manage critically ill patients at Fortis Hospital and Research Centre.
• Coordinate research and academic activities within the Pediatrics Critical Care department.
• Ensure comprehensive teamwork among medical and paramedical staff.
• Monitor and enhance training programs for medical and paramedical staff.
• Streamline administrative processes and coordinate with ancillary hospital units like pharmacy, biomedical, nursing, and labs for effective patient care.
• Be on-call for ICU 24x7x365.
• Oversee the smooth clinical and administrative running of Intensive Care Units.
• Conduct regular follow-ups on patients admitted under critical care medicine.
Coordinate the department’s research and academic activities.
Requirements:
• MD/DNB in Critical Care Medicine or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Critical Care Medicine.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of critical care practices and protocols.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick, informed decisions.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
