Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the state bar and in good standing in Virginia
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal field, preferably on personal injury cases
Proven experience in handling a variety of legal matters, with a strong understanding of legal principles and practices
Exceptional legal research, analysis, and writing skills
Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
High level of professionalism and adherence to ethical standards
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in legal research software and other relevant technology
The ideal candidate is a proactive, problem-solving professional with a passion for law and a commitment to providing exceptional legal services to our clients
Benefits
Salary $100,000 - $130,000 per year
Compensation will involve a signing bonus, base pay, commissions, and bonus pay
We have a retirement plan, as well as health, dental and vision coverage
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to clients in a variety of legal matters
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, presenting arguments and evidence to support their cases
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of legal matters
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends, applying this knowledge to the benefit of our clients and our firm
Contribute to business development activities, including networking and relationship-building with potential clients
Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
