Associate Professor / Assistant Professor in Law (Specialization: Political Science)

Job Description: Chanderprabhu Jain College of Higher Studies & School of Law, a leading higher education institution, is seeking qualified and experienced individuals for the positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in Law, specializing in Political Science. The candidates will be responsible for teaching Political Science to students enrolled in our integrated Law programs (B.A. LL.B & BBA LL.B).
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality teaching in Political Science for Law students.
• Develop and update the curriculum to ensure it meets academic standards and complements the legal education provided.
• Conduct and publish research in the field of Political Science and its applications in Law.
• Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development.
• Participate in departmental activities and contribute to the overall academic environment of the institution.
Qualifications:
• A Master’s degree in Political Science or a closely related field.
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in Political Science, particularly as it applies to Law.
Experience:
• A minimum of 2-5 years of teaching experience in higher education, specifically in Political Science for Law or related programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in Political Science or a relevant specialization is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of research and publication in relevant areas.
• Experience with curriculum development and academic leadership is an added advantage.
