Assistant Warehouse Manager
Job Description
You will oversee daily warehouse operations while also supporting business growth through customer visits, sales support, and account management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to play a key role in both operations and customer success.

What You'll Do
As Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will:
Lead the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, shipping, picking, packing, and inventory control.
Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse employees while promoting a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and physical inventories.
Coordinate closely with Customer Sales & Service Representatives and the delivery team to ensure exceptional customer service.
Maintain warehouse equipment, organization, and compliance with company safety standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and service levels.
Visit existing customers to strengthen relationships, provide support, and identify opportunities for additional business.
Partner with the inside sales team to grow existing accounts and improve customer satisfaction.
Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as required.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
Previous warehouse supervisory or management experience, preferably in a wholesale distribution environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Experience with inventory control and warehouse management systems.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
A customer-first attitude with strong relationship-building skills.
Sales or business development experience is considered a strong asset.
Solid computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
A willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits within the territory.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Occasional flexibility is required for inventory counts, customer visits, meetings, and special projects. Some overnight travel may be required.
