Job Responsibilities:
· Manage & develop the business in the segment of Indian sweets .
· Responsible for developing primary & secondary sales and enhancing Lotus’ market share in the ethnic sweets segment .
· Develop strong relationships with channel partners while resolving channel partners issues.
· Map the current market scenario and benchmark with competitors to identify gaps in product availability.
· Identify emerging markets for sweets and market trends while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
· Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in this segment .
· Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to leadership and other company functions .
· Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends and economic indicators .
· Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance, and manage conflict .
· Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products .
· Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions .
Skills Required:
· Degree with MBA in Marketing or related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG. Candidate with experience in the ethnic sweets category will be strongly preferred .
· Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
· Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close .
· Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks in restricted time frames.
