Job Title: Assistant Manager
Location: Tamak Restaurant, Shop No. 12, Raj Infinia, Evershine Nagar, Malad West, Mumbai
Reporting To: Restaurant Manager / General Manager
Type: Full-time

Tamak is a modern Indian restaurant that blends tradition with innovation, offering a rich culinary experience inspired by regional flavors and refined presentation. We are now expanding with a new outlet in Malad West and are looking to build a strong, passionate team to carry forward our vision.
Role Summary
As Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience, and supporting the team to deliver service excellence. You will assist in managing FOH operations, staff coordination, guest relations, inventory, and support marketing and event initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the restaurant
Maintain service quality and ensure guest satisfaction
Train and mentor staff on service standards and SOPs
Handle reservations, guest feedback, and complaint resolution
Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for timely order execution
Assist in inventory control, vendor coordination, and order placement
Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, and safety protocols
Assist in scheduling shifts and managing manpower needs
Support in marketing initiatives, events, and promotional activities
Generate daily reports and assist with basic administrative tasks
Qualifications and Requirements
2–4 years of experience in a similar role in a premium or fine-dine restaurant
Excellent communication and people management skills
Strong problem-solving ability and calm demeanor under pressure
Knowledge of restaurant management software and POS systems
A degree or diploma in hospitality management is preferred
