Job Description
GITAM (Deemed to be University) invites applications for a faculty position in Information Systems within the GITAM School of Business. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and Post graduate courses, conduct research in the field of Information Systems, and contribute to departmental and institutional service.
Roles And Responsibilities: Management Information Systems (MIS) Business Analytics Database Management Systems Analysis and Design Enterprise Systems (e.g., SAP) Cybersecurity or IT Project Management Engage in scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed journals. Advise and mentor students academically and professionally. Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to service activities at the departmental, college, and university levels. Engage with industry partners and support student internship opportunities.
Education and Experience: Ph.D. in Information Systems, or related field. Effective teaching or potential for excellence in teaching. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in IT, business analytics, or cybersecurity. Demonstrated research record or potential for scholarly productivity. Familiarity with learning management systems and technology-enhanced teaching.
