Assistant Manager/Sales Associate
Job Description
Responsibilities
Engage with prospective tenants to showcase available properties, upsell features, and secure lease agreements through effective negotiation and relationship management
Assist in managing property leasing activities, including scheduling tours, processing applications, and coordinating move-ins and move-outs
Support property management operations by maintaining accurate data entry in systems like Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS; handle filing, record keeping, and administrative documentation
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws, and Section 8 guidelines during all leasing activities
Handle customer inquiries via phone and in person with professional etiquette; resolve conflicts swiftly while maintaining positive relationships
Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate property upkeep and facilities management tasks using CMMS or other tools
Contribute to legal administrative processes by preparing contracts, reviewing lease agreements, and managing legal documentation related to property leasing
Requirements
Proven experience in property management, leasing, or real estate administrative roles; familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs is a plus
Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing policies, and legal contract procedures
Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms; experience with data entry and office administrative tasks required
Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette; ability to upsell and negotiate effectively to meet sales targets
Demonstrated conflict management abilities; capable of handling challenging situations with tact and professionalism
Office experience including filing, record keeping, facilities management coordination, and basic maintenance oversight
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and compliance standards

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
