As an Assistant Manager in Security Operations, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing security measures for the assigned area of responsibility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets within the organization. Your duties will include managing security systems, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and coordinating fire and disaster management efforts. Additionally, you will utilize your technical expertise and behavioral competencies to deliver on established goals while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Security Systems Management: Oversee the management of security systems to ensure effective surveillance and protection of assets. This includes monitoring CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems to detect and respond to security threats promptly.
• Legal Compliance: Possess a basic knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), Arms Act, Labor Laws, and Private Security Agencies Regulation Act (PSARA). Ensure that security operations are conducted in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
• Fire & Disaster Management: Coordinate fire and disaster management efforts to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of personnel and property. Implement basic fire safety measures, conduct regular drills, and develop contingency plans to respond to emergencies effectively.
• Technical Convergence: Understand the basics of technical convergence for security, including the integration of various security technologies and systems. Collaborate with IT and security teams to leverage technology for enhanced security measures.
• Total Quality Management (TQM): Apply principles of Total Quality Management relevant to the security department. Identify areas for continuous improvement, implement quality assurance processes, and monitor performance metrics to ensure the delivery of high-quality security services.

• High Customer Orientation: Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction by addressing security concerns promptly and effectively. Maintain a customer-centric approach in all interactions and strive to exceed expectations.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey security policies, procedures, and emergency protocols clearly to stakeholders. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners.
• Proficiency in MS Office: Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to create reports, presentations, and documentation related to security operations.
• Analytical Skills: Apply analytical skills to assess security risks, identify vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate threats effectively. Analyze security incidents and trends to improve security protocols and procedures.
• Good PR Skills: Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, vendors, law enforcement agencies, and community members. Maintain a professional and diplomatic demeanor in all interactions.
Qualifications:
• Full-time graduate in any discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Defense Services as a Subedar/Chief Petty Officer/Warrant Officer/Coast Guard- Adhikari, or as a subordinate officer/officer of CISF, or as an officer in Corporate/Industrial Security
