Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing professional with a strong background in advertising and digital marketing campaigns. This role involves developing and executing content strategies across a diverse range of digital platforms, including the University’s content hub, social media channels, campaign landing pages, emails, nurture communications and the Deakin University website.
Key Responsibilities:
Ideate, develop, and produce high-quality content tailored for various digital channels, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and audience engagement goals. Brief, create, and optimise content to enhance conversion rates and personalise messaging for different audience segments. Oversee the development, production, and writing of content for multiple assets, including websites, microsites, social media, email marketing, blogs, mobile applications, and digital activations. Analyse content marketing performance data, generate reports, and recommend improvements to optimise campaign effectiveness. Ensure all content adheres to Deakin’s brand guidelines, audience blueprint, and editorial style guide, maintaining consistency in style, quality, and tone of voice.
Key Considerations:
A university degree in communications, media, journalism, professional writing, marketing, business, or public relations, with relevant 3+ years of experience in digital marketing. Proven expertise in advertising, corporate communications, and digital marketing campaigns, with a deep understanding of content strategy and multi-platform execution. Demonstrated copywriting and editing skills, with experience in coordinating publications, scripting, content creation and a keen eye for grammar and editorial standards. Strong understanding of the digital media landscape and content requirements for different media channels. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team, adapt to different working styles, and take ownership of projects independently.
