About the Role
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Assistant Fashion Designer to join our women’s wear designer label. The ideal candidate should have a passion for fashion, a keen eye for design, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing seasonal and capsule collections.
Research fashion trends, colours, fabrics, prints, and silhouettes.
Develop mood boards, colour stories, and design concepts.
Create sketches and detailed technical drawings.
Coordinate with pattern masters, sampling units, and production teams.
Monitor sample development and ensure quality and fit.
Maintain design records, fabric swatches, and style files.
Support photoshoots, exhibitions, and client presentations when required.
Assist with merchandising and styling of collections.
Skills & Qualifications
Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design.
1–3 years of experience in women’s wear (fresh graduates with strong portfolios may also apply).
Proficiency in digital marketing and AI
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS Office.
Good understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and embroidery techniques.
Strong sketching and presentation skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
