The Los Angeles County of Education (LACOE) is seeking analytical and solutions-driven financial leadership professionals with expertise in school accounting, fiscal administration, and financial systems to serve as the Assistant Director, School Accounting and Disbursements.
The Assistant Director, School Accounting & Disbursements plans, organizes, and directs a wide variety of fiscal administration and financial services provided to local educational agencies; implements, enhances, maintains, and supports the financial management systems.
The Well Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following

Required Education and ExperienceEducation: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Experience: Five years of experience in school accounting and fiscal administration, including three years of experience supervising staff engaged in such activities.
Additional Requirements: A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites is required
