Role Description:
As an Assistant Category Manager, you will be assisting in the overall growth and management of the category including production, inventory management, vendor management, product quality adherence and coordination with customer experience and logistics teams.
Your role requires you handle the following responsibilities:
Day-to-day inventory movement and weekly reporting.
Plan monthly production calendar and schedule smooth production to support sales.
Merchandise management for both online and offline channels
Vendor management and buying function.
Order management - Oversee the entire cycle from receiving the order to dispatch.
Managing the category/collection sections of the website.
Managing the category on other marketplaces.
Weekly reporting of various metrics like Revenue, CAC, Margins, Inventory, Orders
This is a target driven role and requires you to be self-driven and excellent at coordination and execution.
Experience – 3-4 years of hands-on experience in a consumer product business or D2C Brand
Location – Our Pune Design Studio (This is not a Work from Home role)
Qualifications
MBA / post graduate degree in business management, operations, supply chain or finance from a premier management institute
Excellent understanding of business operations and previous D2C experience preferred
Smart resourceful thinking combined with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to driving results
