About Businessline/Function :


ISPL Compliance Hub is focused to protect the reputation of the Group and effectively manage risk across all business areas by providing support to various Compliance functions. At present, the department is broadly organized into divisions, which embed into the areas they support to provide services for Global Compliance Training, Capital Markets Surveillance, Electronic Communication Surveillance, Compliance Migrations Co-Ordination, Personal Account Dealing, MIS and Projects support. The team works closely with business partners in CIB and the wider group

Position Purpose


Contract Management and MIS is part of the compliance unit of CIB. The goal is to support the regional compliance framework and to assist with coordination in areas including reporting, management information, control plans and contract management


Responsibilities


Direct Responsibilities


SLA Contract management:


For any Compliance SLAs (new or updates) where APAC territories are concerned, contribute to the end-to-end contract management process till LOMC completion, including contract signing.
Assist in the completion of outsourcing due diligence – coordinating on outsourcing requirements forms and obtaining updates to relevant SLA sections through collaboration with project managers/process owners
Perform updates into Risk ORC 360 tool for each SLA arrangement, by obtaining data from process owner, transversal risk management and retrieving the relevant information from the SLA
Obtain all necessary information needed to launch LOMC
Address queries raised during LOMC, by liaising with relevant stakeholders - Head Office contacts, APAC stakeholders, APAC Outsourcing Management team and LOMC coordinators, and addressing them on a timely basis
Maintain a status report for the different stages of LOMC, sending chasers whenever needed and ensuring progress is on track
Maintain SLA inventory for Compliance APAC, with timely updates and ensuring completeness

MIS

Support regional compliance teams by coordinating with internal stakeholders on the KPIs/information needed for the completion of regular dashboards or reports
Assist to track the responses and to follow up and chase as needed
Perform the necessary checks on the collated information and to follow up with contributors on any anomalies noted
Assist in the compilation and to manage any queries raised by liaising with relevant stakeholders
Assist in other business management tasks involving maintenance of records, compilation, collation or reconciliation of data

Contributing Responsibilities


Professional level knowledge of securities and banking regulation would be an added advantage
Minimum 5 years of relevant compliance and or financial product experience is preferred Comfortable user of Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, MS Excel; Word, Visio, PowerPoint)

Technical & Behavioral Competencies


Technical skills

Experienced candidate with exposure to outsourcing governance and SLA documentation is preferred

Articulate, good interpersonal and organisational skills, able to interact with different stakeholders at Group and APAC level
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to summarise into concise points
Resourceful, strong analytical skills and able to work with minimal supervision
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to sometimes work outside normal business hours or on public holidays to meet reporting obligations
Ability to comprehend issues and breaches in a timely manner and raise it to the relevant stakeholders without any delay
