The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and proactive individuals to provide executive and administrative support to our senior leaders.

The key responsibility of this role is to provide full range of executive and high-level administrative support to coordinate the section’s activities in relation to reporting, people and budget requirements.

Key duties and responsibilities for an ASD 6 Executive Assistant include:

Demonstrate a high-level of initiative, have the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, as well as collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Understands the strategic objectives of the organisation; identifies broader factors, trends and influences that may impact on achievement of work objectives; initiates, develops plans, strategies and team goals.
Successfully develop and implement administrative procedures whilst leading a team.
Liaise with stakeholders and assisting with the resolution of moderately complex to complex policy, project or operational issues, responding to their needs and expectations as required.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and prepare professional business documents.
Proven ability to exercise good judgment and maintain high-level professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.

We are seeking energetic, highly organised and task-orientated ASD 6 Executive Assistant to provide first-rate executive support to a range of Senior Executive Officers (SES) across the agency during this exciting period of growth.

Within the Administration function, an ASD 6 Executive Assistant is accountable, under limited direction, to perform and achieve moderately complex to complex administrative support work within an integrated workforce.

They must have, or the ability to attain, a sound understanding of and compliance to relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and the ASD’s mission and policy requirements.
