Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Aruba Network Specialist to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade network solutions across WAN, LAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership in network architecture, and the ability to translate business needs into robust, secure, and scalable network infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
• Network Design & Deployment:
• Design, plan, and deploy enterprise networks (WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN) using Cisco, Versa, and Aruba technologies.
• Translate architectural roadmaps into actionable project execution plans.
• Lead and guide engineering teams through all project phases.
• Implementation & Optimization:
• Select optimal network solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Execute integration, migration, and optimization of global network connectivity.
• Continuously evolve networks through automation, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Operational Excellence:
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents with minimal downtime.
• Implement performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring.
• Technology Strategy:
• Research, evaluate, and adopt innovative networking technologies such as NFV, SASE, and cloud-native networking solutions.
• Contribute to network security and compliance strategies.
Skills & Requirements
Experience & Certification
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise network design and implementation.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco, Versa, and Aruba SD-WAN.
• CCNP certification (minimum) ? Versa SD-WAN certification preferred.
Technical Proficiency
• Expertise in TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, GRE, VxLAN, IPsec, QoS.
• Proven experience with LAN/WLAN, Next-Generation Firewalls, and SD-WAN (Cisco, Versa Secure SD-WAN).
• Familiar with NFV, SASE, Cisco Umbrella, and cloud connectivity (AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute).
• Knowledge of DDI/DNS, WAF, CDN technologies.
• Advantageous:
• Cloud integration (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Scripting (Python) for network automation
• Network monitoring tools (Spectrum, SevOne, ThousandEyes)
• Virtualization and SaaS/IaaS environments.
Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers.
• Adaptability to fast-changing technology landscapes.
