As an Armed Flex Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-level physical security, performing patrols, managing access control systems, and responding swiftly to incidents with professionalism and confidence. Responsibilities
NEEDS CARD IN HAND AND HAVE YOUR OWN VEHICLE, WORKING PHONE. DUTY BELT AND FIREARM IN HAND.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity, security breaches, or safety hazards using CCTV surveillance and physical inspections.
Manage access control systems to authorize entry for authorized personnel while preventing unauthorized access.
Respond promptly to emergencies by following established procedures for fire safety, medical incidents, or security threats.
Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy.
Perform background checks on visitors or contractors as part of security clearance protocols.
Operate security equipment such as Taser devices, firearms (where legally permitted), AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), and fire extinguishers during emergency situations.
Engage in conflict de-escalation techniques to manage disputes calmly while maintaining safety and compliance with security regulations.
Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring collaboration.
Conduct thorough searches and manual handling tasks safely during searches or when managing detained individuals.
Ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures to uphold the highest standards of physical security and customer service.
Experience
Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating strong surveillance skills.
Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control systems, incident report writing, and emergency response procedures.
Training or certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, fire safety, and conflict management is highly desirable.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when required.
Knowledge of legal protocols related to firearm handling, Taser use, and law enforcement procedures is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to handle stressful situations professionally while providing excellent customer service.
Demonstrated ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough patrols while maintaining vigilance at all times.
