About the Role
Based in Brisbane, this role will support our Sales team with upcoming new brand. On offer is an Area Sales Manager position and your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals for the region.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base in alignment with company objectives.
Monitor and analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities, adjusting strategies as needed.
Train, motivate, and manage dealers’ sales team to achieve BYD’s regional sales targets.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and set development plans for the dealers’ sales team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, including dealerships and distributors.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional strategies tailored to regional needs.
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations within the assigned region, including sales forecasting, and inventory management.
Ensure timely reporting of sales results and market insights to senior management.
Identify and assess opportunities for market expansion, product positioning, and brand awareness within the region.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's market presence.
Key requirements:
5+ years of experience working in a similar roles in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of success in strategic sales.
Strong background in the automotive industry, particularly with electric vehicles.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships within a dealer network and execute successful sales strategies.
Possesses commercial acumen and strong leadership capability
Proficient communication with internal & external stakeholders
Tertiary qualifications in business or a related discipline.
Willingness to travel for business purpose
