• Position Title - Area Sales Manager-General Trade • Location – Nagpur (Will accountable for entire Vidarbha) • Total Experience - 4 to 12 Years (Minimum in Similar Role) • Qualification - MBA (Full Time is compulsory) • Reporting to the Branch Sales Manager • Direct Reporting - Yes (1 to 2 On Roll Employees approx.) • Languages Known- English & Hindi & Marathi (Preferred) • Industry- FMCD/Consumer Durable/Electrical & FMCG. Key Responsibilities: -Sale • sGive sales plan category/product/channel wise- per month after discussion with key distributors and dealer • sDaily tracking of sales plan, expectation vs. reality, billing (value achievement of every channel • )Tracking and updating Daily Sales Repor • tEnsuring Product Mix in the sales and indenting for product • sEnsuring new products and launches are communicated to the market, and the launches are happening on tim • eMonitoring Competitor's activity in the Marke • tMonitoring effective use of POP materials along with Co’s products prominently displayed at all retail shop • sEnsure Company objectives are being fulfilled in a month and cascade the same to team members: working with Field Force in the Marke • tProvide effective customer servic • eIdentifying new distributors and markets to start or develop new markets/territories, understand why the brand is not availabl • eEnsuring new channel mix in the portfolio- to reduce dependency on distributor • sCoordinating with the Depot/Logistics on a day-to-day basis in terms of getting the right Product Mix, and dispatch of goods to respective towns/distributors .Cost Contro • lControl on outstanding: tracking payments/outstanding from channel partner • sEnsuring timely payment from Distributors as per the stipulated time given to them .Promotional Activitie • sMonitoring Schemes in Retail Trade and Distributors • .Monitoring and implementing successfully promotional activities from time to tim • eMonitoring competitor activity and reporting the sam • eAddressing and resolving issues from the dealer/distributor point of view .Subordinate Developmen • tProviding on-the-job training to subordinate sRemarks • -Good Communication Skills & clarity of thought in terms of Sales Process • .Looking for a stable candidate (Frequent job changes will be not considered • )Strong Exposure to Channel Sales & Rural Market exposure is compulsory • Team Handling is compulsory (Compulsory to handle On Roll Team Only • )Strong data analytical skills (Working knowledge of Excel is essential • )Willingness to travel a minimum of 10 to 12 day • sCandidates should have handled a minimum business of 8 Crs PA & above will be considere d
