Role Overview:
As an Area Head - Rural Branch Banking within the Rural Banking department, your role revolves around establishing, nurturing, and strengthening relationships with Rural Banking accounts. Your primary focus will be on driving business expansion, ensuring branch profitability, and delivering exceptional service to customers. Collaboration with external stakeholders is essential to enhance the bank's presence in the designated area and achieve organizational objectives. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing the branch's workforce, fostering their skills, and improving their capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire new customers and enhance existing relationships, particularly focusing on expanding the Liabilities book in rural areas.
- Maintain Average Monthly Balance (AMB) levels to meet set targets.
- Uphold superior levels of Customer Service and Compliance standards.
- Advocate and implement Digital initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their performance.
- Cultivate leadership qualities in Branch managers to drive team success.
- Function as an Area leader, transcending functional boundaries to achieve collective goals.
- Adhere to the principles of the Code of Conduct and the Employer Value Proposition.
- Utilize strategic thinking to build robust teams and foster a positive organizational culture.
Qualification Required:
- Graduation degree in BA, BCom, BBA, BSc, BTech, BE, or any other relevant field.
- Possess a minimum of 10-18 years of experience in the industry.,
