Folds Design Studio, initiated by Architect Krishna Murthy, is a forward-thinking architectural studio and production house focused on futuristic and technologically advanced designs. Co-led by Architect Anishka Maiti, the studio explores digital design and fabrication techniques within contemporary architecture. With a 60,000 sq. ft. design and fabrication facility in-house, the team of over 300 professionals, including architects, designers, and artisans, utilizes cutting-edge digital technologies to realize innovative designs. Folds Design Studio bridges the gap between design technology and the built environment through years of research and expertise in materials, textures, and advanced techniques.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Solutions Architect role based in Navi Mumbai. The Solutions Architect will lead the design and execution of technical architectural solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects meet high design and functional standards. The role involves creating technical drawings, guiding fabrication processes, developing custom solutions with digital tools, and overseeing the integration of design and construction methodologies. The Solutions Architect will play a key role in aligning projects with both innovative design goals and real-world feasibility.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in architectural design tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino, or Revit
• Experience with digital fabrication processes, parametric design software, and 3D modeling
• Strong project management skills, including planning, coordination, and execution of projects
• Knowledge of material properties, manufacturing techniques, and construction methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for coordinating across teams
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with innovative construction and design technologies is a plus
