Job Description
Job Title: Graphic Designer
Contract Type: 2 Month Labour Hire Contract
The Web, Publishing and Data Visualisation Unit (WPDVU) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced digital designer to join our dynamic and fast-paced multi-disciplinary team environment.
Duties
Utilize Creative Cloud software (Illustrator and InDesign) to produce high-quality assets for media and communications.
Conduct background research and collaborate with stakeholders to plan the delivery of artefacts.
Perform pre-flights and quality assurance checks to ensure documents are suitable for print and web.
Build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication.
Provide administrative support by managing task backlogs, prioritizing tasks, and regularly updating stakeholders on progress.
Key Capabilities
Demonstrated experience in functional graphic design, with excellent attention to detail and brand management skills.
Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and escalate issues when required.
Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with various clients.
Ability to identify potential issues and work collaboratively with clients to resolve them effectively.
Sound interpersonal skills, facilitating successful teamwork and contribution.
