The Role
Defence Digital Group (DDG) is delivering Defence ICT capability of the future - capitalising on best in class global platforms supported by best in class sovereign capabilities. By adopting modern architecture and platforms that are scalable, reliable, performant and safe, we will meet the demand of our integrated Defence force to be ready to fight and win in the digital age. DDG is building a team of Organisational Change Managers to ensure this new capability is understood, embraced and embedded.

Our successful candidates will work with various Programs and Projects across different technology and end-user domains to plan and deliver OCM activities including but not limited to, stakeholder analysis, engagement and communication, product training development and delivery, change impact analysis, benefits realisation assessment and ongoing change reinforcement.

The Department will be creating merit pools to fill vacancies across the Organisation over the next 18 months.

You will be supported by a chapter of other OCM professionals, including an SME OCM Chapter Lead. Your chapter will provide you with professional development and peer support to ensure your continual growth in the OCM career and of your general APS skills.

Our ideal candidates will:

Be comfortable working in fast paced project environments with competing priorities.
Have a good understanding of both ICT and people.
Experience in planning and managing stakeholder engagement, developing communication artefacts and support of projects.
A desire to learn relevant industry best practice frameworks like ProSci.
Ability to develop positive working relationships and work in multi-disciplinary teams.
A commitment to continuous improvement.
Excellent ability to engage and sustain stakeholder relationships and be a strong communicator.
Sense of adventure and a drive to deliver.
