Job DescriptionKnowledge and SkillsProven experience in migrating on-premises Oracle EBS 12.2 and Oracle Database 1+c (Solaris) to OCI.In-depth knowledge of OCI services, including Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, Networking, Oracle Cloud Autonomous Services, and other services relevant to EBS infrastructure.Expertise in managing and administering Oracle EBS in a cloud environment.Strong hands-on experience with backup, recovery, patching, and cloning of Oracle EBS and databases in OCI.Familiarity with Oracle database security, auditing, and monitoring practices.Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or OCI-specific automation capabilities.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EBS and database environments in OCI.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Comprehensive understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 architecture and processes, including configuration files and log files, to troubleshoot issues with each component.Hands-on experience in maintenance and configuration of the E-Business R12 environment, including troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning of E-Business application servers and services.Experience in supporting EBS Financial Modules such as AP, AR, and GL.Strong knowledge of troubleshooting issues related to Apache, oacore, oafm, oc4j, Forms services, and apps login through SSO.Expertise in application cloning using Rapid Clone Utility, manual cloning, and troubleshooting post-clone issues.Proficiency in cloning Oracle E-Business Suite applications from Prod to Non-Prod, Multi-Node to Multi-Node, Multi-Node to Single Node, and adding additional application nodes.Configuration and management of Parallel Concurrent Processing.Configuration of PGP Encryption and SSH Key exchange for file transfers and bank interfaces.Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting EBS multi-node architecture for high availability.Configuration and troubleshooting of workflow mailers and notification issues.Experience with WebLogic installation, configuration, administration, and performance tuning.Configuration and monitoring of EBS applications through OEM.Enabling SSL or TLS in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 and importing security certificates.Performing pre-patch analysis using Patch Wizard in Oracle Applications Manager.Applying Oracle E-Business Suite application patches, including PSU, one-off, mini-pack, and family pack, using adpatch options.Proficiency in the administration and management of Oracle E-Business Suite using AD and FND utilities, including adadmin, adconfig, adpatch, adlicmgr, adsplice, adident, adctrl, FNDCPASS, FNDLOAD, FRMCMP, etc.Monitoring and managing concurrent managers, including starting, stopping, rescheduling requests, purging historical data, and tuning concurrent managers.Automation of jobs using shell scripts and scheduling them via crontab and Autosys for regular intervals.Soft SkillsIntegration of OAM/OID with EBS for SSO.Oracle WebCenter integration and EBS AP imaging solutions such as Kofax Markview.Multi-factor authentication and OAAM for external EBS iSupplier.OIM integration with EBS for quarterly certification and identity governance.Unitask Output Redirector for printing solutions.SMTP/IMAP for email and file transfer functionalities.Integration solutions like GlobalScape, Vertex for tax calculation, and Synchro for Brazil-specific tax calculations.Other RequirementsOCI certification, e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Operations.Experience with hybrid cloud environments or other cloud providers.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Oracle workloads.Flexibility in working hours due to the nature of the role, including 24x7 rotational shifts and weekend duty as required.Proven ability to meet aggressive targets.
