About S&A Stairs:
A fourth-generation family business, we’ve been making stairs for Australian homes since 1+20. Today, we're a national supplier to Australia's biggest home builders with operations in Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales & South Australia. We’ve worked with the country’s leading architects for generations and have written the book on making quality stairs at scale for a majority of Australia’s Top 30 builders.
What you'll be doing:
Our Penrith team is currently on the hunt for an apprentice (Certificate III in Carpentry) to join our next generation of skilled stair builders and installers.
You'll develop the knowledge needed to contribute to the manufacture of staircases and components. This could include the manufacture, assembly and installation of our specialised products (Joinery) or the setup, operation and maintenance of a wide range of wood machines, including computer numerically controlled sizing (CNC) and processing centres (Timber & Composites).
What you'll need:
A keen interest in working with timber
Drivers licence and reliable vehicle (essential)
Construction Induction Card (preferred)
