We are a busy renovation company in a fast paced industry. Our staff is stocked with upbeat, positive employees who value quality. The applicant should have good morals, strong workmanship, a willingness to learn and be a team player.
Our goal is to Hire a permanent, full time 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Carpenter to join us.
We are a company to grow with and have guaranteed work, as we offer year round work.
The position will include but not limited to the following;
Manage a small crew
Demolitions & Worksite Clean up
Blueprint reading and planning
Material handling, operating hand and power tools
Assisting Carpenters, and general construction duties
Able to work alone and with others
Cutting, drilling, grinding
Standing and walking for long periods of time
Lifting up to 50lbs
Safety policy and procedures
Qualifications & Experience;
Must have a valid drivers license and own transportation.
Minimum 3 years of construction and renovation experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
Door & Hardware experience an assest
Ability to teach/train/mentor apprentices
Ability to oversee day to day field activities as required
Valid First Aid an asset
Valid WHMIS 2015 an asset
Ability to take direction and follow through on the instructions
Strong focus on customer satisfaction
