Our Finance team is looking for a talented and dedicated Principal Advisor. You will contribute to the success of our team through a combination of vision, thought leadership, relationship management and organisational agility.
Te whai wāhitanga | The opportunity
As a Principal Advisor, you will deliver strategic financial advice and partner closely with the General Manager – Finance, Property & Procurement. You will represent the Governance and Corporate puni across ministry-wide strategies and policies, while contributing to high-quality reporting for the Executive Leadership Team.
The likely appointment range is $124,242 - $151,851, based on skills and experience. The full grade for this role is $124,242 - $165,657 with a mid-point of $138,046

Mōu | About you
To be successful in this role you will need:
Strong analytical, strategic and planning skills
An ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and effective networks across and within organisations
Experience in analysing technical issues and making business decisions with financial impact
To demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
Experience in financial management reporting
Strong working knowledge of government financial management legislation, policies and practices
Experience in a similar role and environment would be advantageous
