APL Supply Chain Coordinator
Job Description
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in monitoring the quality control of all extrusion. Your proactive approach will ensure that we meet our high standards and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers alike. This position is essential in managing quality assurance and ensuring that returned materials are vetted and deemed "fit for use."
As our Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Checking the quality of all extrusions to ensure they meet company standards.
Organising and shipping samples to customers.
Collaborating closely with suppliers to address quality assurance issues effectively.
Overseeing the restocking of returned metal upon delivery from strippers.
Providing backup support for QA related to metal being extruded from Inex.
Ensuring that products are packed in a way that prevents damage during delivery to strippers.
We are searching for someone who has:
Sound knowledge of the aluminium extrusion industry.
Physically capable of performing job duties.
Strong numeric skills and neat handwriting.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Previous experience in store/warehousing is a plus.
