Job Description
HDFC Bank Hiring - API Banking Kanjur Marg Mumbai
Job Profile :
Design, Develop and Publish new APIs on Bank’s API Platform and provide support to External Organizations that are integrating with HDFC Bank’s APIs,
Job Responsibilities :
• Publish New API : Understand requirements for new APIs or changes required in the existing API integrations along with internal stakeholders, design re-usable / future-ready APIs, develop, test, publish and manage those APIs on HDFC Bank’s API Banking Platforms with security, logging, reporting, and monitoring requirements as per Bank’s standards / guidelines.
• Assist External Partners who are integrating with HDFC Bank’s APIs : Debug integration issues faced by external partners during API integration by analysis logs, helping external developers with issues facing in authentication, authorization, symmetric / asymmetric encryption, digital signature verification, usage of JWT Tokens, etc.
Key Skills :
• Basics of JSON, XML / SOAP / WSDL / XPath
• Configuring APIs on Google APIGEE API Gateway : Rest APIs developed using API out-of-box policies like CORS, Spike-Arrest, Quota, Access Control, JWT, JWS, OAuthV2, JAVA callouts etc.
• API Products : Creation and management of API Products on Bank’s Drupal API Portal.
• API / Web services testing using Postman
• Configuring TLS, Mutual Auth / 2-way SSL for APIs
• Understanding protection against Threats like JSON / XML attacks, DDOS attacks, SQL Injections, Code Injections, OWASP top-10
• Configuring analytics and custom reports, monitoring APIs, custom dashboards using ELK
• Low level design of API requirements, preparation of Technical Documentation of APIs
• Debug API issues using logs and Trace
• Understanding of concepts of load balancing, FQDN / domain, firewall rules, load testing
• Understanding Asynchronous Messaging concepts
• Understanding basic CI / CD concepts and tools like GITHUB, Jenkins, Sonarqube etc.
• Understanding basic SQL queries
• Understanding basic of Kubernetes
Experience Required- Min 5 yrs of Experience
