We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of Android devices including Phone and Tablet. Your primary focus will be development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign and build applications for the Android platformEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsCollaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new featuresIdentify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugsHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatizationDifferent type of Architecture (MVVM, MVP, MVC){{Add other responsibilities here that are relevant}}QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)5+ years of relevant work experienceMinimum 2-3 years of Android development.Technical skills:Proficient with Kotlin and Java {{depending on project requirements}}Knowledge of XMLExperience with Android frameworks such as realm, ROOM, SQLite3, etc.Experience with offline storage, multi threading, profiler, and performance tuningFamiliarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end servicesKnowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standardsUnderstanding of Android design principles and interface guidelinesKnowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferredExperience with performance and memory tuning with tools {{such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs}}Familiarity with Firebase, cloud message APIs and push notificationsKnack for benchmarking and optimizationProficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, Mercurial or SVN}}Familiarity with continuous integration- Must be fluent in English- Excellent communication skill- Good convincing skillJOB LOCATION: KOLKATA
