Job Description
Who are we: EXLService is a NASDAQ listed global analytics and digital solutions company with $1Billion+ revenue serving industries including insurance, healthcare, banking and financial services, media, retail etc.
EXL Health contributes to $250M+, of which the Payment Integrity business contributes to $150M.
We are hiring for EXL Health Payment Integrity's Analytics Center of Excellence (ACOE) team in Chennai:
What you should expect from us:
A passionate team of 50 data specialists with deep growth/startup mindset driving our 5-fold growth story of $100M to $500M in 5 years.
What we do: Considered as a Special Investigation Unit by 5 of top 10 health insurance companies and 20 others, We solve for the $500+ billion problem faced by US Health insurance companies(payers), govt. by identifying overpayments due to Fraud waste and Abuse by hospitals/doctors.

Data We deal with billions of records each month, covering 1/3rd of US Healthcare data.
Unique Selling Point that differentiates us: We do not bill our clients any consulting or resource-based fee upfront unlike typical analytics service companies, instead we make money as commission by finding savings/fraud/overpayments. Today we find $1B+ savings for our clients.
How:
• Leadership push to Digitization (Implies faster/easier adoption and lesser friction to ML/data led decisions)
• We productize our R&D, Algorithms for operational excellence to be used across multiple health insurance plans.
• A lean startup mindset with 30%+ yearly revenue growth since 2020 to $150M with 50-member analytics team.
• Multifold Tech stack/investments (Azure, Databricks, AWS, Pyspark, Hive, Python, SQL etc)
What we expect from you:
• Go getter attitude, deep desire to learn and create impact.
• Curious to experiment fail fast and learn
• Startup growth Mindset but with perseverance and patience to crack deep domain heavy business problem and to drive analytics adoption among non-tech clinicians/auditors/business.
• Humility in spite of doing the above 3.
• Strong Analytics, Critical thinking with 6+ years of data led solutioning.
• 4+ years of hands-on coding experience in Python, SQL
• Prior experience in developing, deploying & maintaining software products/solutions (preferably data products) in production environment.
• Familiarity with Applied ML & designing ML pipelines.
• Experience with boutique Analytics consulting experience is preferred
