Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
• Research and stay updated of new infrastructure lending opportunities in the country's infrastructure ecosystem
• Work along with the Lending & Project Finance team to originate lending projects opportunities as pet the overall business priorities
• Conduct due diligence, financial modeling , project risk analysis and structuring of Ioan for the portfolio of infrastructure projects
• Continuously monitor the loan portfolio, keep track of early warning signals, and work with the team towards resolutions on a case-to-case basis
• Work closely with the Risk, Compliance and Legal functions for deal structuring
• Apply financial acumen to recommend appropriate risk-return structure for the project which can invoke investor interest and investments
• Contribute to term sheet finalization and financing documentation
• Monitor loan utilization, repayment capacity, adherence to policy/guidelines and loan covenants of the projects in the portfolio
• Ensure efficient management of portfolio to maintain asset quality
Educational Qualifications:
Graduate or equivalent or professional qualification of CA / MBA or equivalent
Experience:
• Minimum 05 years of experience across businesses/functions/ verticals/domains in a Scheduled Commercial Bank / Financial Institution /Public Sector organization in the finance sector
• The candidate should have at least 03 years of experience in credit underwriting in the domain of corporate finance with Budgetary responsibility
• Experience in an institution in the business of infrastructure lending will be preferred.
• Should have an analytical bend of mind
• Basic knowledge of financing, risk models and financial statement
• Collaborative and orientation to work in cross functional teams
• Should have an analytical orientation
• Should have an orientation to learn
